Robyn Rihanna Fenty (født 20. februar 1988), kendt under kunstnernavnet Rihanna, er en sanger, skuespiller og modedesigner fra Barbados. Hun er født i Saint Michael på Barbados og begyndte at synge som syv-årig. Hun startede sin karriere i 2003, hvor hun mødte produceren Evan Rogers. Som 16-årig rejste hun til USA for at skabe sig en musikkarriere, og hun begyndte at indspille demoer med vejledning fra Rogers. I 2005 fik hun kontrakt med Def Jam Recordings efter at have været til audition for Jay-Z, der på dette tidspunkt var administrerende direktør i pladeselskabet. Hun flyttede derefter fra Barbados til New York City, hvor hun boede hos Rogers og hans hustru. Senere samme år udgav hun sit fjerde album, Rated R, med singlerne "Russian Roulette", "Hard" og "Rude Boy". I sommeren 2010 arbejdede hun tæt sammen med rapperen Eminem på singlen "Love the Way You Lie", der på verdensplan blev en stor succes.

Rihannas femte album, Loud, udkom samme år og bestod bl.a. af de populære hitsingler "Only Girl (In the World)", "What's My Name?" og "S&M". A pop and hip-hop-influenced R&B musician who works in a variety of genres, he has been called the "King of R&B" by some of his contemporaries. His lyrics often address emotional and hedonistic themes. His singing and dancing skills have often been compared favorably to those of Michael Jackson.

In 2004, Brown signed with Jive Records. The following year, he released his eponymous debut studio album, which went triple platinum. He has gained a cult following, and is one of the highest-grossing African American touring artists of all time. Brown holds the record for the most top 40 hits of any R&B singer in history, the most RIAA gold-certified singles of any male singer in history, and the most RIAA multi-platinum singles of any male singer in history. In 2019, Billboard named Brown the third most successful artist of the 2010s decade in R&B and hip-hop music, behind Drake and Rihanna. Brown has won 209 awards from 534 nominations over the course of his career. He has also pursued an acting career. In 2007, he made his feature film debut in Stomp the Yard, and appeared as a guest on the television series The O.C.
